Jacob Weersing is a solo indie developer making weird, silly games under the name YakobSoup. His games blend goofy characters, playful mechanics, hand-drawn art, original music, and a healthy dose of chaos.

His work has been featured in Steam Next Fest, OTK Games Expo, PixElated Fest, Raid Survivors Festival, Bullet Heaven Fest, the Beat ’em Up Games Party, and the Short Games Showcase.

Based in California, Jacob makes games, art, and music as a passion project alongside his career in biotech. When he’s not making games, he’s usually playing music, sketching something stupid, or hanging out with his family and animals.
